Early September 6, Nguyen Van Hung, CEO of Becamex IDC received and worked with John Jung, co-founder of the Intellectual Community Forum (ICF) on surveying the implementation of Binh Duong Smart City construction at the WTC Tower in Binh Duong New City.
At the working session, representative of Becamex IDC presented the corporation’s ecosystem; provincial planning orientation; objectives, meaning and activities of the World Trade Center Binh Duong New City.
Speaking at the working session, Mr. John Jung affirmed that Binh Duong in general and Becamex IDC in particular have taken a strategic step in the right direction. Currently, the world is constantly changing and has many challenges, so Binh Duong needs to adapt to develop appropriately and sustainably. The development of new technologies, namely AI (artificial intelligence), robotics, biotechnology... will be a challenge for a production center like Binh Duong. Hence, Binh Duong needs to build up a foundation, build up intelligent people and create culture on innovation and creation. New training and retraining always support the province's human resources while creating safety in the new period. Binh Duong needs to think of climate change. There will be fewer cars, more electric vehicles and more people using bicycles or walking. Therefore, the province needs to think of planning spaces for the future...In short, this is the foundation of education - innovation and adaptation.
After the working session, Mr. John Jung and leaders of Becamex IDC visited the Becamex Smart Operation Center; My Phuoc Industrial Park; VSIP II.
