Tan Uyen town’s People’s Committee has just held a get-together to honor outstanding enterprises in integration and development in 2018. At the get-together, leaders of the town listened to contributive ideas by the local business community in terms of solutions to realize the local targets on socio-economic development.
Upholding innovative, creative spirit
At the get-together, leaders of the town reported on the local achievements on socio-economic development, national defence-security in 2018 and defined solutions for the local development in the coming time.
Outstanding businesses in integration and development honored at the get-together
Most of the local socio-economic targets over the past nine months gained high growth. The town’s total value of industrial production and construction was estimated at more than VND15trillion, up 12%. Total value of trade-services was more than VND6.6trillion, up 18.73% while total agro-forestry-fishery production value was VND428billion, up 1.37%. The town’s total State budget revenue was VND2.3trillion, up 25%. In addition, the town absorbed additional 61 domestic investment projects with a total registered capital of VND488billion and 18 FDI ones with a total registered capital of US$73.5million.
Ngo Quang Su, Vice-Chairman of the town’s People’s Committee said that the town has created favorable conditions for the business community to get investment projects in line with the local development orientation. Besides, people in the town have been proactive to attach special importance to sci-tech application, contributing to the local agricultural growth.
Also according to Mr.Su, thanks to their creativeness, town-based businesses have continued taking more fruits in production and business, greatly contributing to the local socio-economic development, ensuring the local social welfare during the integration and development process.
Joining hands to remove obstacles
Participating enterprises also expressed their deep gratitude for the support of the local administration over the past time. They also wanted leaders of the local sectors and authorities at all levels to further accompany them, contributing to the local socio-economic development.
The ongoing US-China trade war will bring both challenges and opportunities for domestic businesses. Hence, they need to constantly innovate their production technologies, attach special importance to trademark building…for better competitiveness at home and abroad. The local authorities at all levels also need to bend on making law dissemination, organizing training courses on environmental protection, giving vocational training for laborers; improve State administration in line with the local real situation…
