From Vietnamese family home
Tet holiday is a good chance for every one to meet with family members, especially in the New Year’s Eve. However, there remain unlucky circumstances in shortage of affords to reunite with their families.
Sharing with the unlucky, Hoa Sen Group has over the past 4 years cooperated with units to hold the “Vietnamese family home” program. In this year, Hoa Sen Group in cooperation with Lasta Multimedia and the HCMC Public Security Newspaper holds the program for nearly 1,500 poor children and students in areas of HCMC, Binh Duong…
The “Vietnamese family home” program not only creates a lively playground for poor children but also grants 22 scholarships for them. Besides, the organizing board will choose 5 typical examples to donate 5 more special scholarships.
Le Phuoc Vu, chairman of Hoa Sen Group said that this year’s program will have a two-fold expense from previous ones with the total cost of about VND2bil. He hopes that every one joins forces hands to take care of poor children on Tet holiday. This is a good way to minimize social evils.
To Spring song
With the purpose of sharing with the community, Procter & Gamble Vietnam (P&G) and Metro Cash&Carry Vietnam just cooperated with the local Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to hold Tet gift visits to 600 poor cultural families in Binh Duong province.
In addition, P&G and Metro will earmark part of turnover of the promotional program to help other needy families.
Vu Dong Hiep from P&G Company, said “Over the past 16 years, P&G has significantly contributed to the community, especially helping poor children improve their living and learning conditions.
In 2013, in response to the “Improving the community’s cultural activity” program under the “All-people unite to build a cultural life” movement and “The whole country joins hands to build new rural areas”, we hope to share a “Spring song” and Tet gifts to local poor cultural families and make efforts to hold more deeds in the following years, Hiep added.
Meanwhile, Nguyen Thi Bich Hop, director of Metro Binh Duong, revealed “Since its inception in Vietnam, Metro has paid attention to the community. In this year we are very glad to honor Vietnamese culture and help poor cultural families enjoy a warm Tet holiday”.
