Contributing to fulfilling targets
Last year, Binh Duong province’s business community tried their best in production and trading activities, greatly contributing to the local economic development.
Nguyen Thanh Trung, CEO of Dong A Steel Joint Stock Co. said: “In 2010, the world economy continued facing difficulties, making great impacts on businesses. But, thanks to having many efforts, the company stabilized its activities, fulfilled and exceeded many targets in 2010…”.
Many businesses hope to further reap stable development in 2011
In addition, the business community’s efforts last year made great contributions to the province’s economic achievements. Particularly, they helped the province reach many vital targets such as GDP increasing by 14.5%, industrial production value by 20.5%, State budget collection by 34% compared to that of 2009…
Nguyen Thi Ha, head of the Department for Economics and State Budget under provincial People’s Council analyzed that despite having difficulties, the province’s economy saw good development in all aspects last year. To achieve this, the province made efforts in administrative procedure reform and infrastructure investment. The province’s business world also had good preparation on way of development.
Hoping to overcome challenges
According to many businesses, the world economy and national economy will further face difficulties in 2011. Ly Ngoc Minh, General Director of Minh Long 1 Co.Ltd. said that the business community will encounter great challenges in 2011, including those pertaining to energy and banking interest rates…
But, many businesses put hopes on 2011’s economy. Ly Ngoc Bach, Director of Cuong Phat Co.Ltd. said that thanks to having good preparation, the company finds confident to further stabilize and develop while hoping there will be better growth compared to 2010.
Vu Thi Ngoc Trinh, CEO of Minh Dung Veterinary-Aquaculture Medicine Co.Ltd. also said: “…2011 is the year with challenges for businesses, but this will be also the chance for businesses to affirm themselves. I believe that with good preparation, businesses will overcome challenges and stabilize their production and trading activities…”.
Whilst, according to Nguyen Trong Thuy, Director of Vietcombank’s Song Thanh Branch said that Binh Duong has a favorable investment climate for businesses. Noticeably, they have enjoyed the attention and help of the local administration for better development, including administrative procedure reform.... All these things will be a driving force for businesses to overcome hurdles and fulfill the set targets for 2011…
