After a hard working year, all people want to enjoy reasonable bonus levels to cover costs for Tet
Truong Thuy Lien, director of Lien Phat Footwear Co.Ltd. said that her company will try to give a 13th month salary for workers. Workers herein will also receive financial support for their trips back home for Tet. Currently, the company is home to more than 1,000 laborers with the average income of VND3.8mln-VND4mln per person per month.
In addition to the 13th month bonus, Hai My Co.Ltd. in Thuan An town’s Thuan Giao ward has planned to help workers buy coach tickets for travelling home for Tet. The company will also present Tet gifts, including confectionary, cooking oil, seasoning powder…, to workers.
On Jan.5, 2012, the company will team up with provincial Youth Union to organize a music show for workers. The company now has 6,500 workers and they will get days-off for Tet from Jan.19, 2011 (Dec.27 of lunar calendar).
Bracing up workers to work overtime during Tet
Unlike other companies, Hoa Sen Group has taken fruits in production and trading this year and signed many orders for the next year.
As planned, the company will give workers a 13th month bonus this Tet. Currently, workers herein enjoy the average salary of more than VND5mln per capita per month.
The company has also encouraged workers to work overtime during the Tet holiday. If working during 8 days-off on Tet, they will be paid a salary, equivalent to more than VND5mln.
In general, the 2012 Tet bonuses and other support for employees will be modest because businesses are facing difficulties in production and trading.
