Businesses to be assisted in recruitment

After Tet, due to manufacturing expansion, labor shortage, recruitment needs of businesses is increasing. Businesses have not only posted recruitment announcement but also contacted provincial Job Introducing Center to recruit labors. Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs has assisted businesses in recruitment…

Many incentives for labors

In recent days, many businesses posted announcements to recruit labors with attractive incentives, like: high salary, salary for probation, allowances for accommodation, travelling, overtime working, labors may apply directly at businesses, begin to work after interview…

Truong Thanh Wood Company’s personnel official Ms. NguyenThi Phuong said, it was not easy to recruit labors at the beginning of the year. Thus to satisfy labor needs, the company offered attractive incentives to create employee’s trust so that labors may choose her company as their stop.

Labors were reading recruitment announcement.

In addition to recruiting unskilled labors, skilled labors have also been hunted by many businesses. At the 113th job transaction session hosted by provincial Job Introducing Center on March 3rd, a large number of skilled labors were recruited with high salary, good working conditions, and high positions in businesses. According to Precious Garments Company’s HR manager Ms. Pham Thi Ngoc Loan, the company needed to employ 111 labors. Because there were so many applications, the company selected primarily skilled labors, then unskilled labors. At the moment, the company has to complete export orders, thus they wanted skilled workers to save time and costs for training.

Facilitating business recruitment

According to recruitment registration of businesses at Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs, more than 1,000 companies need to employ over 50,000 labors. Industries of garment, leather, and wood have the highest employment needs. Many companies did not hesitate to give commissions from VND 200,000 – 300,000 to brokers to have immediately one new labor. Pricacy Gament Company’s Deputy Director Mr. Lin Kuan Cheng said, due to facility expansion, the company needed a large number of labors. Many brokers contacted them to introduce labors. But with many incentives, he believed labors would seek to interview for a job at the company.

Before Tet, provincial Job Introducing Center has received recruitment registration of businesses. The center contacted other provinces to search for labors. Therefore, at the 113th job transaction session, more than 2,100 labors came to interview for a job directly. This was a good sign for businesses. Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs’ Deputy Director Nguyen Phung Trung said, high recruit needs came from manufacturing expansion. Recruiting businesses have been assisted in many ways, such as: direct recruitment at the monthly job transaction session. The department has also cooperated with districts, towns to introduce rural laborers to work for industrial parks. In the long term, the department directed provincial vocational training facilities to cultivate professional and skilled workforces to meet recruitment needs of businesses. Thereby, Binh Duong may control the human resource.

Northern, central provinces have developed many industrial zones, thus the amount of labors coming to the south for jobs would decrease. Therefore, to retain employees, businesses should take good care of employees so that they may stay with their companies.
