Thanh Le Trade - Import - Export Corporation - JSC makes efforts to urgently negotiate prices, stock rice. In fact, in the last 10 years, this corporation has no longer distributed rice, so their specialized warehouses cannot store local rice. However, under the direction of provincial Department of Industry and Trade, the corporation renovated a small warehouse to be able to store 100 tons of rice in Binh Duong, ensuring timely supply to local residents.

The corporation has worked with partners in Tien Giang and Long An. Selected partners have the capacity to meet quality and quantity requirements in terms of rice supply. The storage and preservation are done by supplying enterprises (in 6 months) after signing the contract. Rice can be transported from warehouses in Long An, Tien Giang to Binh Duong in a few hours, to respond immediately to an emergency situation. "We try our best for the task assigned by Provincial People's Committee to ensure the rice supply to people."

In order to meet the demand, enterprises supplying medical equipment in the province are also increasing production at present.

According to Department of Industry and Trade, Thanh Le Corporation is a unit with experience in rice storage, trading and preservation, hence Provincial People's Committee entrusts this important task to the unit. The options offered by the corporation are feasible, ensuring food supply to people in urgent situations. Department of Industry and Trade has submitted the plan to departments and sectors to give opinions about assigning Thanh Le Corporation to reserve 5,000 - 7,000 tons of rice within 6 months with a total budget of VND110 billion. Furthermore, in response to the call of Central Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee and provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Thanh Le Corporation supported 20,000 liters of gasoline to serve the Covid-19 prevention and control tasks.

The supermarket's distribution system has enlarged our staff to work at the maximum and work overtime. We also enhance online shopping and receive phone orders to ensure shopping safety. The supermarkets also promote communication, advise people to calm down, refrain from panic buying, prevent market disturbances”, Mr. Long said.
