Mayor Atsushi Kitaoka said that this is the first decision of the Yoshino town government and Le Thi Hanh was also the first foreigner to be a local ambassador for a foreign country. Although Yoshino is a small town in Nara Prefecture, Yoshino has a great connection with major cities of Japan and the world through the tourist route, thanks to many historical and cultural relics, especially Primary forest with many kinds of precious wood. The mission of the ambassador is to connect, promote the image, potential, tourism opportunities, trade between Yoshuno town and the business community of Vietnam, especially Binh Duong and Binh Duong. The first term of the ambassadors begins from August 22, 2018 to the end of March 2019.
Hanh Nguyen Store is a system of retail stores of farm produce and foodstuffs produced by Japanese enterprises in Vietnam and is the focal point of exporting agricultural products from Vietnam to Japan.
