The provincial People's Committee issued Plan No. 3047/KH-UBND dated June 21, 2022 on the implementation of the National Target Program on building new rural areas in Binh Duong province in 2021-2025. The overall objective of this plan is to continuously improve the material and spiritual life of rural people, ensure social security and welfare, build synchronous and modern rural socio-economic infrastructure associated with the process of urbanization, promote the application of information technology, adaptat to climate change, improve people's lives constantly, preserve and promote the traditional cultural identity.
The specific target is that by 2025, all 41 communes will meet the new enhanced rural standard; 10 communes will meet the model new rural standard. All districts meet the newly raised rural standards to improve the quality of life of rural people, and increase their income at least 1.8 times compared to 2020. The pilot implementation of the project on building a new countryside in the process of urbanization in Bau Bang district should be implêmnted and replicated to the remaining areas, suitable to the actual conditions of each locality.
