Creating jobs, which is contributing to accomplishing the national target on poverty reduction, is an important task of Binh Duong province. Vocational training for rural workers has brought visible results.
To meet employment needs of rural workers, provincial vocational schools have opened many training courses for them. Di An vocational school has enrolled learners for training courses like: forklift driving, hair cutting, cookery courses, bonsai, welding, mechanics, and industry electricity. The school has offered free tuition to rural workers, and support VND10,000/school day. According to principal To Chi Tri said, forklift driving is having high demand and can get high salary.

Tan Uyen vocational school has also opened 13 training courses for 301 learners since this year’s start. Vice principal Pham Minh Sang said: “People’s awareness of vocational training has been improved. Thus we will survey actual needs, open training classes at communes for rural workers”.
In 2014, provincial Job Introducing Center has trained and focused on local labors. The center has opened vocational courses, cooperated with businesses to give training and employ labors. Since the beginning of this year, 13 courses have been opened for 270 rural learners. After learning, rural workers have been introduced jobs and have stable income.
Many vocational facilities have paid attention to demand for labor to fulfill supply. Vocational training in Binh Duong has proved its ability and has been responded positively by majority of rural labors. Since the beginning of this year, Binh Duong has given training to 1,376 rural labors, including 358 learners of agricultural professions and 1,018 learners of non-agricultural professions, achieving 57.2% year target.
Additionally, vocational training has brought to localities to save cost for rural workers. Training fields are consistent with business requirements, thus workers can get jobs and stable income. Career opportunities at hometown are available.
