In the past years, despite the stiff competition from Chinese ceramics, domestic ceramic enterprises (enterprises) in general, Binh Duong Province in particular, have been striving to maintain the traditional market and exploit new market.
In the first 6 months of 2018, Cuong Phat Ceramic Co., Ltd (Thuan An Town) achieved export value of nearly USD 2 million, an increase of 15% over the same period last year. Currently, the company has orders for production until 2018, with export turnover estimated at $ 8 million, up 15% compared to 2017. According to leaders of this enterprise, many orders to ensure effective production, enterprises are focused on improving the capacity of system management, production management to be affordable to the market.

Focus on the domestic market
In Binh Duong, there are nearly 300 pottery production establishments, each year supplying 130-150 million products to the market. The current difficulty is the ceramic bases in the province produce more or less products also depend on customers. Therefore, although the ceramic industry in the province has continued to grow quite well, the golden age is still far away.
Nguyen Hong Hong, Director of Dai Hong Phat Ceramic Company, said that the ceramics industry has changed a lot compared to previous years, the number of small ceramic enterprises has declined because of the unbearable pressure of competition. In return, some enterprises specializing in exporting pottery gradually grow to affirm the name and prestige in the market. The trend of order sharing is being made by ceramic enterprises in Binh Duong, namely large enterprises receiving orders and then redistributing them to small firms for processing. This helps small ceramic enterprises continue to stabilize production and help businesses reduce the pressure on delivery time.
Vuong Sieu Tin said that some ceramic enterprises have come back to the domestic market in order to keep the domestic ceramic market (such as cups and bowls); In the export market in addition to ceramic garden products, construction ceramics are interested businesses. Potential for ceramic construction is huge, because the demand for new materials in construction is increasing.
Ceramic materials are used extensively in structural details of the building, from building blocks, flooring, wall tiles to hollow aggregates for lightweight concrete. In addition, sanitary ware products are indispensable materials in construction. Acid-resistant, heat-resistant ceramic products are widely used in the chemical industry, metallurgy and other industries.
