The registration of protection as a collective mark of "Thanh Hoi vegetables" helps vegetables grown in Thanh Hoi commune have more important legal protection of the legitimate rights and interests of farmers in accordance with the law. The result contributes to improvement of product quality through the complete construction of farming processes, linking production and business households to build, protect, and promote the brand of "Thanh Hoi vegetables" to consumers and businesses.
At the announcement ceremony, the provincial authorities introduced the operation model of collective brand management of "Thanh Hoi vegetables" such as product overview, information on protection of intellectual property rights (logo, catalog, etc.) protected products and services, protection status, owner information, regulations on management and use of the collective mark. The provincial authorities also guide farmers on the process of managing and exploiting the collective mark of "Thanh Hoi vegetables" and how to quickly check pesticide residues on vegetable products. On this occasion, the provincial functional sector announced the Decision of the National Office of Intellectual Property on the granting of a certificate of registration of the collective mark of "Thanh Hoi vegetables" to the Farmers' Association of Thanh Hoi commune.
