Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee receives leaders of Vietnam Rubber Industry Group

August 14, Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee, Mr. Le Thanh Cung received and had a working session with leaders of Vietnam Rubber Industry Group (VRG). Mr. Tran Ngoc Thuan, Chairman of Board of Directors and General Director of VRG informed that for the coming years, the group would invest into in-depth development in Binh Duong Province as a major locality in development strategy. Of the 10 key establishments of VRG in Binh Duong Province, Dau Tieng Rubber Corporation and Phuoc Hoa Rubber Corporation are on top of capacity together with the model Nam Tan Uyen Industrial Park. He suggested that local authority should sign agreements of thorough development and coordination in Party activities.Addressing the reception, Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee, Mr. Le Thanh Cung informed of economic status of the province and assured that special considerations should be made for VRG. As a matter of fact, functional agencies should be assigned with researches to promote signing strategic cooperation and coordination of Party activities at the soonest.As for planning, he suggested that both sides should make discussions to follow step-by-step measures. He also replied to inquiries on constructions of DT741 street, street connecting to Thanh Phuoc Port, and customs declaration in industrial parks.In the meantime, he stressed on traffic infrastructure strength of Binh Duong Province which should facilitate in-depth and long-term cooperation with VRG.Reported by Trung Dong – Translated by Vi Bao
