After implementing its program on new-style rural construction, Phu Chanh commune in Tan Uyen town has changed continuously, contributing to improving the lives of locals. The locality now continues enhancing the quality of criteria of the program to be recognized as a new-style rural commune again in 2020.

Phu Chanh preschool is built at demand for learning of the local people’s offspring
Commune-based companies have worked very stably. The whole commune is now home to 16 companies and 517 individual business households, 178 of which get involved in lodging business with 2,415 rooms. There is a robust development in terms of services, sufficiently supplying commodities with quality and quantity ensured at locals’ demand for shopping.
The commune has also attached special importance to upgrading rural roads, tightened management on construction-environment and made urban rejuvenation.
Phan Minh Dung, Chairman of Phu Chanh commune’s People’s Committee said that the commune has paid attention to connecting the local water drainage system when working out rural roads. Improving quality of criteria on new-style rural construction
In 2015, Phu Chanh commune reached all 19 criteria of the program on new rural construction. The commune is focusing on enhancing the quality of criteria of the program in order to be recognized as a new-style rural one till 2020. For the program’s criterion No.2 on traffic, the commune has regularly coordinated with relevant agencies to check the local road for timely repair.
In terms of the program’s criterion No.7 on environment, the commune’s 4 hamlets have to date established self-management squads on environment. Since early this year, the People’s Committee of the commune has set up and implemented a plan on environmental protection among sectors, mass organizations and hamlets. The commune has also mobilized locals to plant green trees along roads towards a green-clean and nice living environment…
For the program’s criteria No.5 on school, the commune has till now built and put its preschool and primary school into operation. The commune’s secondary school has also been started for construction in 2017…
Possibly speaking, Phu Chanh commune’s newly-style rural construction has obtained positive results.
