In the morning of March 30, Deputy Chairman of Binh Duong provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Danh chaired an online seminar on China's investment promotion organized by China Construction Bank (CCB) in collaboration with Becamex IDC. Attending the conference was Mr. Ngo Tuan, Consul General of China in Ho Chi Minh city; Mr. Pham Ngoc Thuan, General Director of Becamex IDC; representatives of leaders of departments, agencies and branches of the province; and representative of China Construction Bank.
In 2021, despite facing many difficulties and challenges due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Binh Duong province still strives to maintain economic growth and development. With an open and attractive investment environment, over the years, Binh Duong has been a reliable destination for foreign investors. Up to now, China ranks first among 65 countries and territories with foreign direct investment projects (FDI) in Binh Duong province with 1,561 projects and total investment capital of over USD 10 billion.
At the conference, representatives of relevant departments and sectors answered the concerns and questions that Chinese businesses and investors are seeking to find out about cooperation and investment opportunities in Binh Duong. Deputy Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Danh invited Chinese investors, businesses and entrepreneurs to Binh Duong to explore investment cooperation opportunities. Investors will see more fully the advantages, potentials, investment cooperation opportunities and utilities of socio-economic infrastructure that Binh Duong province has been trying to improve to serve with better service for the needs of foreign investors including Chinese investors in Binh Duong province.
