In particular, recently the ward has witnessed the appearance of many mini supermarkets, department stores, and 24/7 convenience stores, such as Bach Hoa Xanh, VinMart, Citimart, FamilyMart, Co.opFood... with abundant fresh food, vegetables, fruits, dried food. On Le Hong Phong street solely, there are many grocery stores and mini supermarkets. At convenience stores, goods are displayed with diverse types, meeting daily needs of the people, from food, beverages to personal belongings, stationeries... Customers may also make payment for some bills of electricity, water, telephone calls, book a ticket, withdraw money at these stores.
In addition, most convenience stores offer fast food and save an area for serving food on the spot. This business form is an advantage when many young people choose these stores for the diversity of goods and services, convenience, fast serving, instead of spending a lot of time queuing at supermarkets. Efforts to successfully implement resolutions
Recently, production facilities in Phu Hoa ward have focused on investment in modern equipment with the purpose of improving product quality, creating jobs and ensuring stable living conditions for workers. The whole ward currently has 1,762 businesses and production facilities, an increase of 1,080 facilities compared to the beginning of the 2015-2020 tenure. These organisations mainly operate in the field of packaging , unburnt bricks, ornamental pots, food processing... Industry and small-scale industry in the ward achieved an average annual growth rate 19%.
Phan Van Luong, Vice Chairman of Phu Hoa ward People's Committee, said that from the beginning of this tenure, the commerce and service industry had grown at an average rate of 21% per year, meeting Party Resolution of Phu Hoa ward tenure 2015-2020. Diversified types of trade, service and small-scale industry in the area have helped improve people's lives. Currently, per capita income of the ward is VND 81 million/year.
Mr. Luong said that in 2020 the ward continued to prioritize the growth of commerce and services to meet the requirements of industrialization and increasing consumer demand of the people.
