On December 5, Vietnamese-German University (VGU) held a ceremony to inaugurate and put Vietnam’s second community e-motorbike system into operation.

Attending the event were Dang Minh Hung, Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee, Germany’s Consulate General in HCM city and leader of Bosch Vietnam Company.
The system is the accomplishment of cooperation between Bosch Vietnam Company and universities, namely HCM city’s Polytechnic University, Da Nang’s Polytechnic University and VGU. Particularly, the company sponsored VND4billion for students at the universities to research and develop an environmentally friendly e-motorbike system with technical requirements from it, contributing to minimizing environmental pollution and building up a green and clean living environment.
Prior to that, the system was put into operation at HCM city’s Polytechnic University and it will continue being implemented at Da Nang’s Polytechnic University.
At the ceremony, leaders of concerned agencies spoke highly of the effectiveness of the modern and environmentally friendly project that has well met sustainable development requirements in the field of urban traffic at present.
