In order to create favorable conditions for businesses, for associations in the province to learn about issues on intellectual property when Vietnam joins the Trans-Pacific partnership (TPP), morning Apr 28, Department of Science and Technology held a conference on Intellectual Property in the TPP, advantages and challenges to businesses.
The TPP has 12 country members, on Feb 2nd 2016, these countries signed the TPP authentication in Auckland, New Zealand. The main areas of TPP include goods trade, open services – investment market, governmental procurement (public procurement), labor, intellectual property and electronic commerce.
At the conference, Representative Office of Vietnam Intellectual Property Department in Ho Chi Minh City shared information related to TPP, exchanged, answered questions of enterprises on intellectual property protection, disputes issues as joining the TPP.
