On Oct 12, Provincial People's Committee held a groundbreaking ceremony of a construction project building roads and bridges connecting Binh Duong and Tay Ninh provinces. This is also one of key projects to welcome the 11th Provincial Party Congress 2020-2025.
Leaders of the two provinces and delegates take part in the commencement of the project.
The project of roads and bridges connecting Binh Duong and Tay Ninh provinces is an cooperation between the two provinces to complete inter-regional traffic system in general, between Binh Duong province and Tay Ninh province in particular, in order to satisfy the traveling and transport demand of people, to encourage socio-economic development. The project has a total length of 800.39m, the road section through Binh Duong province is 377.7m long; the section in Tay Ninh province is 92.2m long. The project has a total investment of more than VND 369.98 billion. In particular, the construction cost is VND 288 billion 717 million. The road is designed according to standards of level-3 road, with a designed speed of 80km/h. The bridge is reinforced with a designed life-span of 100 years. The project will be executed from 2020 to 2024, invested by Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mai Hung Dung praised efforts of investors, departments and branches of Binh Duong and Tay Ninh provinces. He also recognizes and appreciated the determination to soon complete the clearance work of Dau Tieng district and Duong Minh Chau district. Mr. Mai asked the relevant units, after the ceremony, to immediately carry out comprehensive construction solutions, ensure quality and progress; work closely with relevant departments and localities to promptly solve problems that may arise during construction.
