Construction progress of Tan Uyen - Phu Giao-Bau Bang Road sped up

On the morning of December 1, Nguyen Van Danh, Vice Chairman of Binh Duong Provincial People's Committee, together with leaders of departments, branches, and Phu Giao District People's Committee examined the construction progress of Tan Uyen - Phu Giao-Bau Bang Road and Bridge. This is a key project of the province to solve difficulties and will be put into use in 2023.

According to reports of localities and contractors, the construction progress is being urgently sped up to keep up with the set schedule. However, the project still has some difficulties due to the grid infrastructure, fiber optic cables, and clean water lines. In addition, some households have not yet agreed to the site clearance and compensation plan, affecting the construction progress.

Through the actual inspection, Nguyen Van Danh highly appreciated the efforts and determination to speed up the progress of construction units. Regarding difficulties and obstacles hindering construction progress such as: relocation of electric poles, underground cables, clean water works, slow handing over of land by locals, Nguyen Van Danh asked related agencies and branches clearly defined accountabilities and promptly resolved problems.

He also recommended localities, in the matter of compensation, to both achieve the people’s consensus and accelerate the site clearance procedure. The Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee asked construction units to pool all their resources and urgently complete the project before December 2023.
