In the afternoon of September 30, Thu Dau Mot city authority inaugurated and announced breaking ground of constructions welcoming the 11th Provincial Party Congress in 2020-2025 tenure. Attending the ceremony was Tran Van Nam, member of Central Committee of CPV cum Secretary of Provincial Party Committee and Head of Provincial NA Delegation, Nguyen Hoang Thao, permanent Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, Tran Thanh Liem, Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee cum Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee, Vo Van Minh, the member of Standing Board of Provincial Party Committee cum Chairman of Provincial People’s Council.

Accordingly, 4 constructions were inaugurated with total investment capital of nearly VND 500 billion including the construction of inter-ward clinics of Phu Hoa and Phu Loi, Phu Tho and Chanh Nghia, park and public constructions of the former venue of Phu Cuong ward People’s Committee, and 16 classrooms of Phu My Junior High School. Five projects have been newly started at the cost of VND 454.559 billion of Hoa Mi Preschool at Phu Tho ward, and upgrade and expansion of Phan Dang Luu Street from Vo Cai crossway to Ben The Market and through the river bank boundary of Saigon River.

Addressing the ceremony, Tran Thanh Liem stressed that the inauguration and completion for use of some constructions as announced at the ceremony hold the significant values of great determination expressed by Party Committee, authority, enterprise community, and the people of Thu Dau Mot city in practicing dual tasks of effective pandemic prevention and proactive measures to recover production and business activities. In the meantime, those constructions are major and practical to welcome the 11th Provincial Party Congress of 2020-2025 tenure. For the time to come, Thu Dau Mot city authority will continue to care for and effectively use the constructions that have just been inaugurated at the ceremony. Measures will also be focused on maintaining the landscapes and the invested equipment.
