Continue to remove difficulties for enterprises

Industrial output value of the province in the nine months has increased over the same period; however, only 65% of the yearly plan has been reached. While FDI enterprises are growing with strength, domestic enterprises are struggling to fight back challenges of increasing input prices, lacking of funds, the purchasing power of a bear market, large inventories, and so on. To achieve the planned production value and sales in 2012, the specialized agencies are implementing drastic measures to remove difficulties for enterprises; however effective the measures are, not all businesses overcome their hardship.  Workers are working on line of manufacturing and assembly of power generators at Sang Ban Mai Power Joint Stock Company in My Phuoc 2 Industrial Park  Mrs. Truong Thi Thuy Lien of Lien Phat Shoes Company, said: "In previous business contacts, I have raised up the difficulties of electricity supplying policies and land tax. Then, the power sector in Di An has worked with the company and committed to schedule power outage only on Sunday with notice before and off-schedule power outage. The tax sector has also calculate to cut land tax for businesses. In general, the support of functional agencies and sectors to remove difficulties for enterprises has been very timely. Mr. Mai Van Chanh, General Director of Binh Duong Construction and Materials, said: "The troubles raised with mining industry regulations regarding the management and mining." Meanwhile, Mr. Huynh Quang Thanh, chairman of Binh Duong Wood Processing Association, said the timber industry has also been tired by Circular No. 01 of Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development on checking the origin of forest products - the time-consuming and sluggish processes for purchase orders. More particularly, Mr. Ly Ngoc Bach, Director of Cuong Phat Ceramics Company stated: "The ceramics sector faced many difficulties due to rising and decreasing gas prices continuously with large margin. The peak was in April when gas prices soared to record of approximately USD 1,550 a ton before lowing down to 840 USD a ton in August, and again increasing to USD 1,360 a ton in October, an increase of 62% in just 3 months ". Director of the Department of Industry and Trade, Mr. Vo Van Cu, said: "In the first nine months of the year, the Department regularly monitors and grasps up the organization of production, sales and consumption of products made by the enterprises to promptly remove them for enterprises. Particularly, the Department of Industry and Trade has advised the Provincial People's Committee to hold conferences on "Meeting up industrial enterprises", "implementing Resolution 13/NQ-CP on the May 10, 2012 of the government on a number of measures to remove difficulties for production, trading and marketing support for businesses." The conferences included the participation of representatives of industry associations, clubs, importers and exporters, representatives of businesses and the functional leaders to listen to, record and directly answer the recommendations of the enterprises. To continually develop the industry in a sustainable way in the future, Mr. Cu said that the Department of Industry and Trade will continue to propose solutions to remove difficulties for enterprises and to implement policies encouraging the enterprises to focus on concentrated industrial hubs while implementing trade promotion programs in 2012 so that businesses will be supported with promotion of products and market expansion. Department of Industry and Trade is implementing programs to support energy audits and implement energy-saving solutions for enterprises in 2011-2015 period. In addition to concerns of departments and sectors, with all his heart, Chairman Le Thanh Cung, directed: "Although industrial production value of the nine months continued to increase, the domestic growth volume slows so they are facing difficulties. To overcome difficulties for continual development, contributing to the completion of the plans in 2012, leaders of departments are actively supporting the enterprises .On the side of enterprises, they should try their best, using all the experience to survive, grow and prosper. If businesses have met the functional departments and the problems left unsolved, please consult in writing documents to provincial leaders.Problems within the provincial competent will be solved by the provincial authority, the problems within the macroeconomic level will be proposed to higher authorities for consideration and resolutions. We stand right behind you."
