Cooperation agreement between Becamex IDC and HCM city National University inked

A ceremony to sign cooperation agreements between Becamex IDC and HCM city National University, Eastern International University and the medical faculty of HCM city National University was held at Becamex hotel in Thu Dau Mot city’s Hoa Phu ward on the afternoon of December 4.

Attending the event were Assoc.Prof.Dr.Huynh Thanh Dat, member of the Party Central Committee, Director of HCM city National University; Tran Thanh Liem, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People’s Committee; Dang Minh Hung, Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee; Nguyen Van Hung, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, CEO of Becamex IDC.

Mr.Dat said that the signing ceremony aimed to meet the demand, goal for  development and integration of HCM city National University and Binh Duong province in particular and of the whole country in general. The two units will have close coordination to soon implement cooperation contents, fully uphold the potential of each side for the highest cooperation efficiency. Whilst, Mr.Hung said that Becamex IDC has always paid attention to developing human resources in the sci-tech field towards the formation of smart logistic centers at requirements of realizing the Binh Duong smart city project. The two sides will organize seminars on trade promotion and international connection, thereby contributing to supplying enterprises with services and human resources.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr.Hung emphasized that over the past years, the province paid more attention to ensuring social welfare, especially in the fields of education-training and public healthcare. Hence, the event was very significant for the province, contributing to promoting the Triple Helix cooperation model for realizing the Binh Duong smart city project in the coming time.
