On the afternoon of April 18, a signing ceremony for a cooperation agreement between Becamex IDC and the Fraunhofer ENAS Institute for Electronic Nanosystems (Germany) was held at the Provincial Convention and Exhibition Center to establish a Microelectronics Research Center in Binh Duong. The event was attended by Mr. Nguyen Van Loc, Standing Member of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Mr. Bui Minh Tri, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Nguyen Van Hung, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Becamex IDC Corporation; Professor Dr. Harald Kuhn, Director of the Fraunhofer ENAS Institute for Electronic Nanosystems; along with representatives from various departments, branches, enterprises, and Eastern International University.

During the signing ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Van Hung articulated that the collaboration between Becamex IDC and the Fraunhofer Institute for Electronic Nanosystems ENAS serves as a vital link for connecting scientists and researchers from both the Fraunhofer Institute and various European institutions. This initiative paves the way for the establishment of a Research Center modeled after the Fraunhofer Innovation Platform, which optimizes flexibility and collaboration. This partnership will provide a robust foundation for Vietnam's integration into the global semiconductor value chain, thereby contributing to the advancement of new technology industries with high added value, in alignment with the demands of emerging developmental trends.
