In 2021, due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, province-based cooperatives, People's Credit Funds faced many great difficulties in production and consumption of goods, services and exports. With efforts, their total revenue was estimated at more than VND 1.14 trillion, reaching 73% of the year’s plan, down 19.7% compared to the same period in 2020.
During the year, provincial Cooperative Alliance coordinated with the People's Committees of districts, towns and cities in the province to propagate and advocate the establishment of 16 new cooperatives, achieving 100% of the plan. Up to now, the whole province has had 212 cooperatives with 31,152 members, charter capital of VND 783 billion; 128 cooperative groups (including 4 new ones) mainly operating in the fields of cultivation and animal husbandry, with 1,285 members, capital of VND 32.8 billion.
