Creating a breakthrough from infrastructure

With a strong commitment to building a more modern and civilized district, North Tan Uyen has proactively implemented comprehensive solutions to execute its 2025 mission and development plan right from the beginning of the year.

Effective planning implementation

Nguyen Thanh Thuong, Chairman of North Tan Uyen district’s People's Committee stated that from the beginning of the year, the local government has mobilized the entire political system to carry out the 2025 mission and development plan. One of the district’s key priorities is urban planning. Accordingly, North Tan Uyen has continued implementing and managing development based on the district's construction master plan until 2040, which has been approved by provincial People's Committee.

The project of upgrading and expanding DT746 road with the section from Tan Thanh to Hoi Nghia intersections opens up favorable trade opportunities for North Tan Uyen district

In addition, the district is accelerating the implementation and management of the General Planning Project for six communes, which has been approved by provincial People's Committee. It is also expediting approval procedures for the General Urban Planning of the new towns of Tan Lap and Binh My. Furthermore, the district is actively coordinating with relevant departments and agencies to advise the province on approving the General Urban Planning Projects for Tan Thanh and Tan Binh.

Leaders of the district considers urban planning as the foundation for mobilizing all resources, laying the groundwork for breakthroughs in urban technical infrastructure in an interconnected, modern and synchronous manner, ensuring sustainable development across the district. This planning also serves as the basis for the district to achieve its goals by 2030, including upgrading Tan Thanh town to meet standards of a fourth-class city, enhancing the quality of Tan Binh town to meet standards of a fifth-class city and officially recognizing Binh My and Tan Lap communes as fifth-class cities.

Nguyen Thanh Thuong emphasized that during the implementation of urban planning, the district’s recommendations and proposals have always been carefully considered and highly valued by the province and relevant departments. "After its establishment in 2014, North Tan Uyen district faced numerous challenges, particularly in traffic between communes and hamlets, economic restructuring and environmental issues. To address these difficulties, the district has developed comprehensive planning, projects, programs and action plans, ensuring a synchronous and consistent implementation, which has yielded significant results". Mr. Thuong stated.

Urgency and quality assurance

North Tan Uyen district has been actively completing key projects that drive breakthroughs in development and create widespread positive impacts. The district is also advancing transportation infrastructure with an urban, modern approach in line with the province’s strategic direction, ensuring seamless and interconnected traffic flow.

2025 marks a crucial period for accelerating the completion of targets set by the Resolution of the district’s 12th Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term. Therefore, leaders of the district has instructed departments, organizations and localities to begin work from the start of the year, ensuring progress, quality and efficiency. Delays must be avoided to prevent any negative impact on production, business activities and implementation of socio-economic development goals for 2025. In addition, in order to complete and enhance the quality of key infrastructure projects while promptly addressing existing challenges, leaders of the district has instructed relevant units to review, assign responsibilities, monitor, supervise and accelerate project implementation. These efforts aim at boosting State budget revenue, creating jobs for workers, closely tracking the progress of planning execution and monitor investment attraction within the district.

Leaders of the district has urged the acceleration of key inter-regional transportation infrastructure projects that will have a significant impact on urban development in the coming years. These include the construction of the road from Tan Thanh to Tam Lap Bridge in Tan Dinh commune as part of the North Tan Uyen - Phu Giao - Bau Bang arterial road as well as the Thu Bien - Dat Cuoc road… Relevant units are focusing on addressing challenges and obstacles in the implementation of key projects, ensuring progress, enhancing the efficiency of public investment and creating sustainable development momentum for the district in 2025 and the following years.

Nguyen Thanh Thuong, Chairman of North Tan Uyen district’s People's Committee emphasized that all-level authorities, sectors and relevant units must focus on significantly improving the investment environment. This includes continuously innovating, enhancing capacity and improving the efficiency of investment promotion efforts. Additionally, they must work closely with investors to resolve difficulties related to planning, investment procedures and land clearance, ensuring the successful completion of the plan in 2025 and the following years.
