These days, Dau Tieng district’s Party, government and people are very eager to set achievements in celebration of the 45th anniversary of Dau Tieng’s liberation (March 13, 1975-March 13, 2020). Many considerable works in the district have also been hastened to be able to soon put them into use, serving the local development.
Synchronous urban, traffic infrastructure
Over the past time, Dau Tieng district attached special importance to fostering urban infrastructure projects, creating a motivation for the local socio-economic development. The district’s center for culture-information and sports is built very spaciously, well meeting people’s demand for entertainment
So far, the district has made the 1/500-scale detail plan for Dau Tieng township’s trade-service and residential area, urban area in the eastern region…After being approved and realized, they will contribute to creating a new rebound for the development of Dau Tieng township in particular and Dau Tieng district in general. The district has also carried out the adjustment of the Ben Suc overall urban plan with more than 1,000 hectares into the Thanh Tuyen overall urban plan with more than 6,222 hectares.
The district also continued executing a program on urban development for the 2017-2020 period and a joint plan on restoring the local urban order; installed 522 lights with a total cost of more than VND8.6billion…over the past time. In addition, the district strengthened urban order management, carried out inspection on construction and handled wrong cases if any.
Under its program on urban development between 2016-2019, the district spent VND804.5billion on basic construction. The district has to date fulfilled 7 basic construction works worth nearly VND167billion and is carrying out 5 others with a total cost of approximately VND268billion.
According to Mr.Tuyen, the district has built, upgraded its urban areas towards civilization and modernity while realizing many projects approved. The district has also constructed a lot of major projects, including those of upgrading the street in the front of the district’s People’s Committee to CMT8 street; expanding Minh Hoa crossroads…, aiming to serve the local development target.
The district now has a perfect traffic infrastructure system with 100% of district-level streets and nearly 32% of commune-level ones covered by asphalt and concrete. The district has also actively mobilized organizations, individuals to get involved in the movement of making rural roads under the motto of “The State and people work together”…
Well realizing the set plan
After nearly three years of implementing the Plan No.41/KH-UBND of the district’s People’s Committee dated April 14, 2017 on setting the local road safety corridor, the district has received consensus, response from people from all strata. The district has also attached special importance to upholding resources from economic sectors to continue promoting the local socio-economic infrastructure system.
Mr.Tuyen said that over the past time, the district concentrated on social infrastructure development, aiming to ensure social welfare and improve the quality of human resources for the local development. District-based education, health facilities and culture-information and sports centers also received investment in terms of material facilities from the district…
Possibly seeing, the district bent on constructing many key projects for the local development. Noticeably, the district well realized the movement of making rural roads; coordinated with relevant units to expand DT744 street and many other major works, actively contributing to the local socio-economic development.
The results from the program on urban development in the 2016-2019 period came from the ceaseless efforts by the Party, government and people in this field. Upon this, the district surmounted obstacles, contributing to successfully realizing targets set out by the local Party Committee.
