Since early 2011, the People’s Committee of Dau Tieng district has spent more than VND1.113trillion on infrastructure investment in 11 new rural communes. Of the total figure, VND769bln was used for basic construction; VND352bln for production-business and more than VND12bln for other activities.
Thanks to the above investment, the district’s communes under the new rural construction program have reached a perfection in infrastructure. Thanh An commune has so far met all 19 criteria of the new rural construction program; 2 communes of Dinh Hiep and Dinh Thanh with 15 criteria; 4 communes of An Lap, Long Tan, Thanh Tuyen and Long Hoa with 14 criteria; 3 communes of Minh Hoa, Dinh An and Minh Tan with 13 criteria; Minh Thanh commune with 11 criteria.
From now till year-end, Dau Tieng district will strive to have 3 communes of Dinh Thanh, Dinh Hiep and Long Tan meeting all 19 criteria of the new rural construction program. There will be also 4 communes of Dinh An, Minh Tan, Long Hoa and Thanh Tuyen satisfying the criteria by 2015.
