Achievements from new-style rural construction
In 2015, Dau Tieng became the province’s first new-style rural district. All 11 communes of the district now focus on improving the quality of new-style rural construction criteria.
Over the past years, the district’s economic growth continued being maintained with most annual targets reaching and surpassing the set plans. The district’s total production value gained the annual growth of 12.2%. The average income per capita of the local people in 2018 was VND50.6million. The district’s economic structure was shifted towards industry, construction-trading, services-agriculture, forestry and fisheries.
Nguyen Phuong Linh, Chairman of the district’s People’s Committee said that the district has focused on new-style rural construction in association with improving the spiritual and material lives of people. The district has also mobilized all resources to perfect infrastructure facilities, aiming to serve the local socio-economic development and increase people’s lives.
So far, the district’s cultural institutions have reached synchronous investment, basically meeting people’s demand for cultural, sports and entertainmental activities.
