On the morning of January 24, Cao su Dau Tieng Limited Liability Company held a conference to review its production and business activities in 2023 and outline the direction and tasks for 2024. The conference was attended by Ms. Nguyen Minh Thuy, Standing Member of the Provincial Party Committee and Head of the Organizing Committee; Mr. Nguyen Van Danh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; and Mr. Le Thanh Hung, CEO of the Vietnam Rubber Industry Group.
In 2023, amidst the challenging conditions caused by a significant decline in the selling price of synthetic rubber compared to the annual plan, coupled with the complex developments in the global situation... Dau Tieng Rubber Company Limited has formulated specific management and operational measures that are suitable for the actual situation, fostering unity and solidarity to overcome difficulties and achieve the highest performance in meeting the targets and plans assigned by the Vietnam Rubber Industry Group. Specifically, the rubber tapping output reached nearly 24,510 tons, with over 31,300 tons processed and over 32,790 tons consumed. The total revenue amounted to nearly 1,590 billion VND, with an average income of nearly 8.1 million VND per person per month. In 2024, the company aims to tap 25,000 tons of rubber, purchase 10,000 tons of smallholder rubber latex, process and consume 35,000 tons, including exporting 21,000 tons. The total revenue is expected to reach 1,917 billion VND.
At the conference, Mr. Nguyen Van Dan expressed confidence that in the coming period, Dau Tieng Rubber Limited Liability Company will continue to uphold the spirit of unity and make efforts to fulfill the production and business targets for 2024, actively contributing to the province's overall economic and social development goals. Mr. Nguyen Van Dan emphasized that the provincial leadership, departments, and agencies have been actively supporting and resolving difficulties to ensure the company's effective operations in the future.
On the ocassion, two individuals from the company were awarded commendations by the Prime Minister for their outstanding completion of the 2023 mission; the company received commendation from the Vietnam Rubber Industry Group; the State Capital Management Committee awarded a competition flag to two units, the Processing Factory and the Dau Tieng General Hospital of Rubber, and presented commendations to teams and individuals who excellently fulfilled the production and business tasks in 2023.
