Early January 21, Dau Tieng Rubber One-Member Co.Ltd. held a conference to review its business and production activities in 2013 and define tasks, orientations for 2014.
The company’s total area of growing rubber trees as of late 2013 was nearly 29,000 hectares, including more than 19,000 hectares under exploitation. Despite difficulties, the company last year still tapped 30,800 tons of rubber latex or 102% of the projection with the average productivity of 1.59 tons a hectare. All 11 plantations of the company fulfilled and surpassed the year’s plan in production and business. The company reached more than VND2.338trillion in total revenue and VND663.91bln in total pre-tax profit. Workers herein enjoyed the average income of VND7.52mln per capita per month.
For 2014’s targets, the company will strive to tap 28,000 tons of rubber latex, reach 27,680 tons of rubber latex for export and achieve VND1.751trillion in total revenue. On this occasion, the company was awarded the emulation banner of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development. Three individuals were awarded the third-class Labor Medals of the State President. Four collectives and two individuals also received the certificates of merit of Prime Minister of Government. The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, provincial People’s Committee and Vietnam Rubber Group also awarded the certificates of merit to other collectives and individuals.
