Early May 19, Dau Tieng Rubber One-Member Co.Ltd held a ceremony to mark its 35th founding anniversary (May 21, 1981-May 21, 2016). Attending the event were Nguyen Minh Triet, former State President; Tran Van Nam, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of provincial Party Committee together with leaders of provincial Party Committee, People’s Committee, People’s Council, Fatherland Front Committee and Vietnam Rubber Group (VRG).
Established on May 21, 1981, the company constantly rose up and reaped achievements in all aspects. The company was also awarded the “Hero of the People’s Armed Force” title and the “Hero of labor” title in the renewal period. After 35 years of development, the company has become one of the VRG’s top units in terms of production-business efficiency, care to laborers’ material and spiritual lives and completion of tax obligation.
Especially, since 1991, the company has developed nearly 30,000 hectares of rubber with productivity raised to 2.1 tons of rubber latex per hectare from 0.65 tons of rubber latex per hectare. The company has also tapped, processed and sold more than 950,000 tons of finished rubber latex or 105% of the plan; reached more than VND28.4trillion in total revenue and paid more than VND5.8trillion for State budget. Workers here in the 2011-2015 period enjoyed the average income of VND8.5mlm per person per month. The company also actively realized social welfare policies, invested in infrastructure…, contributing to promoting the local socio-economic development.
On behalf of provincial leaders, Mr.Liem praised the company for its achievements during the 35 past years while suggesting the company to put focus on taking measures to surmount difficulties and raise production-business efficiency, ensuring laborers’ material and spiritual lives and continuing making contributions to the local development.
