Basic construction projects carried out
The project of Dau Tieng district Children’s Cultural House is a typical example for the above-mentioned thing. Covering 3,000 square meters, the project comprises of items on multi-functional house, swimming pool, outdoor recreational area…with total investment of nearly VND30billion. So far, it has been basically completed and is about to be put into operation.

Over the past time, the district’s basic construction works were implemented under the Law on Investment. The district also submitted some key works’ construction designs and total estimates into provincial People’s Committee for approval, aiming to promote the local socio-economic development and improve the quality of the local new-style rural construction program.

Dau Tieng district’s People’s Committee has conducted the district’s Construction-Investment Projects Management Board and relevant units to seriously carry out a task of rechecking all phases of basic construction projects in order to give the district’s People’s Committee good advice. The district’s People’s Committee has also asked for functional agencies to have close coordination with investors and contractors to fulfill necessary procedures in order to effectively hasten basic construction projects on schedule.
Leaders of the district have also required the local functional agencies to promote capital disbursement for basic construction works, contributing to fulfilling the local targets on socio-economic development in 2019. Moreover, they need to hasten the progress of construction of projects; recheck preparatory work for investment; have close coordination in the process of realizing public investment projects…Since early this year, capital disbursement for the district’s public investment works has reached more than VND75billion or 40% of the year’s plan…
Basic construction is a major field, greatly affecting socio-economic development. For Dau Tieng, agriculture now accounts for a big proportion in the local economic structure. But, industrial manufacture and construction also make contributions to the district. The district is striving to increase the proportion of industrial manufacture-construction to 36% in the local economic structure by 2020.
