Dau Tieng district’s total production value in the first four months of 2019 was estimated at more than VND4.46trillion or 28.7% of the year’s plan.
Of these, industrial manufacture-construction reached more than VND1.94trillion. Trade-services obtained more than VND1.7trillion. Agricultural production was more than VND809billion.

In terms of diseases in plants and domestic animals, there were 10 foot-and-month cases reported in communes of Long Tan, Thanh Tuyen, Long Hoa, Minh Thanh and An Lap communes. The district’s People’s Committee instructed relevant units to coordinate with localities to opportunely destroy 104 ill heads of cattle with 6,370 kg. Additionally, the local functional agencies made vaccination against foot-and-month and blue-ear pig diseases on cattle herbs; continued carrying out the phase 3 of the program on sci-tech application to develop an intensive farming model for citrus fruit trees under VietGAP standards and make the linkage from production to processing in 2 communes of Minh Hoa and Minh Thanh.
