According to a report by Dau Tieng district’s People’s Committee, the district’s total GDP in 2013 was estimated at more than VND2.10bln, up 11.15% compared to the corresponding period of last year or 98.93% of the year’s plan.
Of these, agricultural production value reached VND789.3bln, up 5.24% compared to the corresponding period of last year or 102.2% compared to the year’s plan. Trade-services value achieved VND708bln, up 12.6% compared to the corresponding period of last year or 96.24% compared to the year’s plan. Industrial manufacture-construction value gained VND607.8bln, up 18% compared to the corresponding period of last year.
The district’s average income per capita also reached VND29.5mln a year. There were 99.8% of households in use of clean water. The number of poor households reduced to only 1.43% of total... For the national target program on new rural construction, the whole district in 2013 had 8 communes getting involved in the program. Their plans on implementation of the program were also approved….
