Under a policy on improving collective economic activities, Dau Tieng district has strengthened propaganda and widely multiplied the local typical models, thereby creating a positive change in developing new-style cooperative models.
Minh Hoa Phat Agricultural Cooperative is one of Dau Tieng district’s effective cooperatives. After nearly 3 years of operation, the cooperative has constantly developed, expressing members’ right orientation in fostering citrus fruit trees. The cooperative now has more than 60 hectares of oranges, tangerines, pomelos, lemons…under VietGAP standards with products ‘quality ensured and good competitiveness.
So far, the whole district has had a total of more than 30 cooperatives, cooperative groups on construction, transportation, cultivation, small-scale production-business. They have worked very effectively with high profit. In order to enhance the local collective economic activities, the district has taken solutions in a synchronous way; been proactive to improve operational methods, foster new-style collective economic models with flexibility and adaptability to the market.
The role of collective economy in the district has been affirmed with effective cooperative models. For better results, the district needs to have synchronous coordination in supporting and replicating effective cooperative models towards sustainable development.
The district’s Steering Board for Collective Economy has also just held a conference to disseminate the Law on Cooperative 2020. At the conference, learners were disseminated new regulations on the establishment, organization and operation of cooperatives in all fields. The conference also raised the general situation of collective economy in the current period; the role of cooperatives in socio-economic development, new-style rural construction…
