Along with Thanh An industrial park, Dau Tieng district over the past time supported the implementation of An Lap industrial compound; coordinated with Dau Tieng Rubber One-Member Co.Ltd. to set up additional 2 industrial compounds in Thanh An commune with 150 hectares. The district has also continued working with functional agencies to realize the expanded project of the Bau Bang industrial park in Long Tan commune with 969 hectares and the expanded project of the An Dien industrial park for the phase 3 with 381.21 hectares in An Lap and Thanh Tuyen communes.

In addition, the district has always created favorable conditions for small and medium-sized enterprises to stabilize their production-business activities. Accordingly, the district has continued reforming administrative procedures, attached special importance to enhancing the effectiveness and quality of State administration on land, urban and construction order, environmental protection…All have greatly contributed to the local industrial development. The district’s production value has so far reached the annual growth of 20%, thereby contributing to reducing the rate of the local poor households under the province’s poverty line to 0.55%.
Nguyen Phuong Linh, Chairman of Dau Tieng district’s People’s Committee said that realizing that investment attraction was an important factor for economic development, so the district over the past time strengthened administrative reform while mobilizing resources to make investment in the local traffic system. In the coming time, the district will further uphold its advantages in terms of workforce, land and natural resources; continue creating favorable conditions for investors to work effectively; associate the development of industrial compounds, craft villages, tourism sites with building up a synchronous infrastructure system and ensuring environmental protection.

It is known that the district’s total production value over the past eight months was more than VND9.33trillion. Of these, production value of industry and construction was more than VND3.8trillion, up 22.5%. Trade-service value was more than VND3.4trillion, up 12% while agricultural production was more than VND2trillionm up 5.1% compared to the corresponding period last year.
