Early August 12, a delegation of the Central Steering Board of the National Target Program on building new-style rural areas had a working session with Phu Giao district’s People’s Committee about the local implementation of the program for 2016-2020.
At the working session, the district’s Steering Board of the Program on building new-style rural areas reported some results of the district after five years of implementing the program to the delegation. So far, the district has had all 10 communes recognized as new-style rural ones. Among them, Tan Hiep has reached criteria of an advanced new-style rural commune. The district has fulfilled documents suggesting central authorities to recognize it as a new-style rural district…Over the past five years, the district’s total capital for new-style rural construction was more than VND3.52trillion…
Pham Duy Khanh, Head of the delegation also spoke highly of results done by the district in the program over the past years while acknowledging the district’s obstacles in the process of realizing the program for timely support from the Central Steering Board of the National Target Program on building new-style rural areas.
