On October 7, Mai Hung Dung, Member of Binh Duong Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee, receoved and worked with the delegation of Lombardy Region (Italy) led by Attilio Fontana, Chairman of the region. Accompanying the delegation were Raffaele Cattaneo, Deputy Minister in charge of international and European relations of the Lombardy Region; Marco Della Seta, new Italian Ambassador to Vietnam; Enrico Padula, Consul General of Italy in Ho Chi Minh City.
Speaking at the meeting, Dung informed about the socio-economic development situation of Binh Duong province recently; he also expressed his belief that through this working visit, the two sides would have a deeper understanding, especially seeking opportunities for cooperation and development in the areas that are prioritized by Binh Duong and that the Lombardy Region has strengths.
Attilio said that through research, Binh Duong province is a place that meets many conditions that investors in the Lombardy Region need to expand cooperative relations in the near future.
