On August 29, a delegation from the National Assembly (NA) Commission for Science-Technology and Environment, led by Phung Tien Duc, Deputy Head of the Committee, had a working session with Binh Duong about improving the efficiency of implementation of policies on science and technology. Dang Minh Hung, Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee and leaders of some departments, sectors received the delegation.
Under the Party and State’s policies on science-technology development for the period of 2015-2017, provincial Party Committee and People’s Committee issued 24 documents on guidance for implementation. The province’s State administration in terms of science-technology research and development, quality measurement…basically met the local requirements on socio-economic development. From 2015 to 2017, the province realized 42 tasks on provincial-level science-technology tasks. The province’s total State budget in this field between 2016-2017 was VND196.163billion.
Concluding the working session, Mr.Tien spoke highly of the results of implementation of policies on science-technology development over the past time.
