A delegation of provincial People’s Council’s Economic-Budget Commission, on May 23, had a working session with provincial Department of Planning and Investment (DoPI) about the local situation of granting licenses to projects on industrial production outside industrial parks (Ips) and industrial compounds (Ics), in attendance of Huynh Thanh Long, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Council.

According to a report by provincial DoPI, granting licenses to projects on industrial production outside Ips and Ics was implemented in accordance with the province’s policy. In the period of 2012-2016, the whole province granted licenses to 927 projects with a total registered capital of more than VND7.8billion, including 244 outside Ips and Ics.
At the working session, leaders of provincial DoPI suggested provincial People’s Committee to amend the Decision No.49/2015/QD-UBND under the Law on Investment and the Government’s Resolution No.43/NQ-CP dated June 6, 2014 on some main tasks in reforming administrative procedures and deploying investment projects that use land to improve the local investment climate…
