In the afternoon of January 8, Nguyen Van Danh, Director of Department of Industry and Trade and members of Trade Promotion Center, Commercial Management Division, and Market Control Division had a working session with Thu Dau Mot City People’s Committee regarding plan of servicing Lunar New Year 2018.
So as to ensure needs and demands for necessary commodities servicing consumers and contributing to stabilize market prices in the city in 2018, Thu Dau Mot City People’s Committee focused on commanding Phu Cuong Ward People’s Committee and Thu Dau Mot Trade-Service Joint Stock Company to allocate and arrange placement for ornament plant trading and sales of fruits and candies servicing Tet at 5 slots and 216 positions along with parking lots to assure traffic safety and order. The time should be from February 4 through February 15, 2018.
Addressing the working session, Nguyen Van Danh, Director of Department of Industry and Trade suggested that Thu Dau Mot City People’s Committee should pay attention to examination of food sanitation and safety. The price listing and enhancement of trade cheating and fake should be maintained to prevent price hiking while assuring electricity grid safety and fire prevention, order of trade and sales to offer shopping opportunities to the people during Tet 2018.
