So far, VSIP 1 has absorbed more than 240 investment projects from many countries and territories in the world with a total investment capital of US$2.4bln. Dong An 1 industrial park has also lured 120 FDI and domestic investment projects with a total investment capital of more than US$400mln.
Along with Thuan An town, Tan Uyen district with the heroic “D” base now sees changes with the birth of industrial parks of Dat Cuoc and South Tan Uyen. The two industrial parks have so far lured 118 domestic investment and FDI projects.
Ben Cat known as the “Iron triangle” land in war time now also creates a breakthrough in investment attraction with the strong development of My Phuoc and Bau Bang industrial parks, which have lured more than 400 FDI projects capitalized more than US$3bln.
Many other industrial parks namely Viet Huong 2, An Tay and Rach Bap have been forming up in the “Iron triangle” land with great promise in investment attraction. Viet Huong 2 has so far drawn nearly 40 FDI and domestic investment projects with a total registered capital of VND85bln and more than US$330mln.
Possibly speaking, the success of industrial parks on the “heroic” lands has contributed to hastening the industrialization and urban process of the province. The whole province is now home to 28 industrial parks with 8,979 hectares in total, generating the driving force for the local strong development in industrial manufacture.

Leaders of Binh Duong have put forward many measures to further promote the local industrial development in the coming time.
Particularly, along with industrial infrastructure development, Binh Duong will give top priority to urban development, vocational training and traffic infrastructure development.
In addition, Binh Duong will attach special importance to educational infrastructure in order to train hi-quality human resources at the local industrial manufacture’s development requirements.
Binh Duong now has 10 universities, 6 colleges and several education projects underway, supplying human resources for industries with high technologies and strong competitiveness at the local sustainable industrial development.
