Di An City is striving to be recognized as a class-two urban area in 2022, basically meet the class-one urban criteria in 2025, towards developing the city into a smart, civilized and modern city. In particular, the development of Di An urban area in the direction of urban compression, high density; focusing on the development of high-rise buildings, commercial centers, services and education along main traffic axes, such as National Highway 1A, 1K, My Phuoc - Tan Van, DT743, East-West, and areas adjacent to neighboring provinces and cities, creating a modern space highlight.
Up to now, the state management of urban planning of Di An City is getting better and orderly. The city has completed the planning of The Di An urban general plan, the zoning plan of wards as well as the land use plan, the annual land use plan with orientation, vision, basically meeting the requirements of socio-economic development in the locality as well as the province and region.
