Di An determined to clear temporary, spontaneous markets

According to Di An city’s People's Committee, there are 10 traditional markets in the city. The operational maintenance of the local traditional markets has contributed to solving people’s needs for shopping and consumption and developing the local trade and service sector.

However, there are also 6 temporary market points, spontaneous markets and 3 stopping operation. The city has strengthened the clearance and removal of temporary and spontaneous markets in order to implement the local urban civilization project. The city has also proposed provincial Department of Industry-Trade, relevant departments and sectors to soon issue documents guiding the transformation of the market management board model into a non-business unit in accordance with regulations. For degraded markets, the city has mobilized small traders to invest in upgrading them... The city is doing bidding procedures to build a trade center at Binh An market. In order to improve the operational efficiency of traditional markets, the locality will implement a plan on mobilizing small traders to carry out commercial civilization in order to develop in line with a dynamic urban area in the coming time.
