In his visit to southern Binh Duong
province one year ago, Party General Secretary Nong Duc Manh visited the Party
Committee of Di An district and chatted with cadres of the district (photo). He
advised the Party Committee to well realize personnel development and pay more
attention to laborers’ material and spiritual lives.
Looking back into one year of implementing Party General Secretary Manh’s advices, Di An district’s Party Committee had good preparations in all fields towards its 10th Party Congress, especially in personnel task. Reportedly, the number of young candidates of the district’s 10th Party Congress accounts for 13.6%; those aged between 36 and 50, 69.23%; those aged 52 and above, 17.31% and there are 32.96% of female candidates. The number of candidates at university level account for 82.69%; those at high-level political theory or equivalent level, 69.23%; those with Bachelor of Politics, 19.23%...
In terms of taking care of laborers’ material and spiritual lives, Party General Secretary Manh said: “…Di An district’s Party Committee needs to pay attention to the lives, incomes, entertainment places…of workers, especially female ones.”. The district’s Labor Union Chairman Ho Hong Minh said that thanks to the attention of the local Party and government, the material and spiritual lives of workers herein have so far seen considerable improvement with the average income between VND1.9mln and VND2mln per capital per month…
Such these apart, Di An district focused on investing cultural institutions for workers to play and relax after working hours, including cultural-sports compounds in An Binh, Tan Binh communes, Suoi Lo O cultural park, the district’s sports center…The district’s mass organizations also frequently organized and maintained diverse activities in favor of laborers, aiming to create useful playgrounds for them. In addition, the district paid attention to Party admission among workers at non-State companies…
With the above-mentioned results, the Party, government and people of Di An district can completely believe that that they will obtain greater achievements in the next tenure.
