Di An town, on December 9, had a meeting with the steering board 127 about measures to stabilize the market before, during and after the Tet (Lunar New Year) festival 2014, aiming to protect the local customers’ rights and interests.
The situation of the town-based smuggling and trade fraud will continue going complicated, especially during the upcoming Tet festival. Hence, along with speeding up law dissemination, the local functional agencies will tighten control over the market, set up hotlines and be resolute to prevent smuggled and counterfeit goods, trade fraud, illegal speculation on goods and wrong cases on food safety and hygiene.
In addition to instructing key tasks from now till the Tet festival 2014, Vo Van Giau, Vice-Chairman of Di An town’s People’s Committee stressed: “Chairpersons of the People’s Committees of wards will be responsible to chairperson of the People’s Committee of the town about market stabilization, especially wrong cases that take place in their locality…”.
