According to Thuan An People's Committee, the value of industrial production in the area in the first quarter of 2013 is VND11,136 bln.; increases by 9.2% compared to the same period last year, reaches to 16.45% of People’s Council’s resolution; including domestic enterprises increased by 9%, foreign-invested enterprises 9.2%.
Due to long Lunar New Year holidays, labors in wood, leather, garments industry constantly fluctuates, but with considerations from government and businesses, the employee percentage returning to work after Tet was relatively stable to promote production.
