The 2nd provincial Competition for Good Farmers in Sci-tech Application co-held by provincial Department of Science and Technology, Department of Information and Communications, Farmers Association and Informatics Association concluded last weekend.
The competition absorbed more than 85 candidates, including members of provincial Farmers Associations at all levels. They experienced two test parts. As a result, the organizers awarded prizes to 11 outstanding individuals and collectives. First prize for the best team went to Di An town’s Farmers Association. It was followed by Ben Cat town’s Farmers Association. Meanwhile, first prize for the best individual belonged to Thai Thi Thuy Trang from Tan Uyen town…The organizers also honored 2 outstanding collectives for their contributions to the competition.

The competition aimed to brace up the local farmers to apply sci-tech applications into production and daily life. It was also the foundation for the local functional agencies to assess farmers’ ability in sci-tech application for proper orientations and measures, contributing to promoting the local movement of sci-tech application in production and business among them.
