Di An town is now home to 6 industrial parks and 1 industrial compound with 828.64 hectares. The whole town has so far absorbed 217 FDI projects with total registered capital of US$1.6billion and 220 domestic ones with total registered capital of VND8.8trillion.

The town also has a total of 3,200 enterprises outside industrial parks, generating jobs for more than 179,000 laborers and contributing to the local socio-economic development. The town’s industrial manufacture value during the past 20 years was more than VND749.17trillion, representing the annual growth of 21.37%.

Always creating advantageous conditions for enterprises
Since being re-established, Di An district (now being Di An town) has attached special importance to developing industrial parks. Town-based industrial parks with modern and synchronous infrastructure facilities have been among the province’s ideal destinations for investors at home and abroad.
Le Nhu Thach, CEO of Binh Duong Construction and Investment Consulting Joint Stock Company (Biconsi) said that the company decided to select Di An town for investment as the town has a favorable position. Moreover, leaders of the province and the town have always created advantageous conditions for enterprises to develop.
He said that the company is implementing 3 housing projects with total investment capital of around VND10trillion. The company has spoken highly of the town’s development potential and pledged to make investment and contribute to the local development.
At the last get-together with enterprises, Mr.Tai suggested and called for the town’s departments, sectors to further raise high the responsibility of enterprises and uphold their solidarity; be proactive to remove difficulties and seek consumption markets; apply sci-tech advancements into production…They also needed to pay attention to trademark building; actively take part in the “Vietnamese people give priority to using Vietnamese goods” campaign…
